There's truly nothing better than going home after work, ordering food in or making some cheesy pasta (best comfort meal), and watching either silly anime, or a dark David Lynch film to sooth the introverted soul and lull oneself into a deep sleep.

'I don't wanna be here' and other hilarious introvert slogans to scroll during your morning coffee
Being an introvert often feels like living with a quiet inner world that no one knows about but you. For me, it's my Russian poetry, my Medieval novels, my salt lamp shining pink halations on my pages while I read and write, anime, and my cat. It's about being your most authentic self when you're alone, and loving that atmosphere. Not everyone is introverted though, and it's not about being shy or antisocial either. A friend just told me that he read a study saying people who were more extroverted were sharper as they got older. We'll see about that when we're both 90.
While crowds, parties, or constant malarkey can be draining, solitude is like plugging into the stillness. When I'm tired of the chatter of the day, the long commute to work and listening to everyone else's phones playing songs, videos, reels, while I try desperately to stave off the oppressing distractions from myself, I look forward to returning to my world at home. Here's to introverts who can't get enough of themselves.
